Hello, I’m Lucinda — founder and creative director of The Fabric Alchemist.

I have always experienced the world through feeling first.

​

I grew up in a strict religious world shaped by modesty, structure and rules.

 

Fabric became my creative form of expression. A way to create softness, beauty and emotion within the boundaries I was given.

What began as escape became language.

​

Today, The Fabric Alchemist exists to shape atmosphere through fabric, light, movement and feeling. My work is deeply inspired by the emotional power of space. How a room can soften, hold memory, shift energy and create connection.

Each installation is designed not simply to decorate a space, but to shape how it is experienced and remembered.

My work draws from interior design, storytelling, couture, architecture and a lifelong fascination with atmosphere, emotion and human connection.

Based in Australia, creating spaces felt around the world.
